Labradoodle
Guardian
program

We are committed to having every breeding dog living as a family pet in a home.   Labradoodle Guardianship allows us to expand our breeding program and never have dogs living without their own loving home and family.

Labradoodle Guardianship is basically having a loving family dog for its entire life that you share with us for breeding purposes. Females are usually bred 3 to 4 times between the ages of 2 and 6 years. Males are used more often but for shorter time periods and their breeding life can range from 10 months t0 5  years. These dogs are beautiful, breeding quality dogs that will go through genetic testing to confirm excellence. The dog lives with its guardian family forever and there is no purchase price. A $500 deposit is required and if the puppy doesn’t qualify as a breeding dog the dog is yours for a pet price of $500.  Once the dog is done with their breeding contract the $500 will be refunded to guardian. . Some of the primary commitments are: the driving of dog to and from breeder’s house, and vet appointments. There is a 5 year commitment to work together and you will keep the dog in good physical shape and weight.

Upcoming guardian opportunities from our 2024 litters.

Luna

Born November 14, 2024

Size small medium

Luna is a full body smile, followed by laughter. She gets so happy that her entire body wags! Luna has the best scent ability that I've ever seen!!! She follows the scent of the dogs that walked before her and can track them without fail. She even tracks the deer, raccoon, skunk, geese, and otter at the river! I think she would make an excellent candidate for seizure, blood pressure, anxiety, PTSD, etc. If she stays here any amount of time, I will get her doing some volunteer search and rescue or narcotics alert work.

Luna had some early on trauma and abandonment issues that instilled in her some survival techniques and without her ENS exercises and a nurturing mother in the 1st 16 days of life, she had to learn later on, and is still learning, to self sooth, and be reassured that she is safe. She is doing great and has come a VERY long way. The precise moment Luna is picked up or coddled, she relaxes her body 100%. There is huge potential with Luna.

Upon meeting new people, with her pack at home, she chimes in with the barking. However, she accepts praise and high value treats and normally it only takes a few "good girl's" and "thank you Luna's" (for saving me) followed by "that's enough" and some pets, "lovies" and a game of fetch, and she settles right down.

Luna is 💯 PERFECT at kennel training. She puts herself to bed when I open the door. Sleeps all night,  without a peep. Luna has been loose, leash trained, and does extremely well. She is learning heal. She would know it within a few days if taught. I enjoy watching her track, and I'm so impressed with her talents that I almost always take her to the park and river instead of the neighborhood. Luna is a VERY loving and affectionate puppy once she has her "person or people." She is attached to Casey (boyfriend) now, and the second she hears his truck, his voice, or his distinct "Luna whistle"... she drops EVERYTHING and runs as fast as possible to greet him. I have no problem believing that Luna would bond this closely with another person. Luna also bonds with other dogs (she's only been with doods) and gets along with every doodle, so far, that she has met. Luna has grown out of and been trained to not have destructive behaviors. She is quite happy to just be a good dog when given the proper tools for success. Little Luna is quite vocal. She could easily be taught to say "I love you." We have been working on it, especially with Tallulah here, asking Tallulah is also a vocal dog in the guardian program. Luna has been potty trained since she was quite young. She uses a doggy door and rings potty bells also. In conclusion, I would say that Luna is a beautiful, well-rounded puppy, that would adapt to any active lifestyle. Luna might be happy as a stay at home dog, but she will need her daily playing and exercise,  both physically and mentally. She is quite smart and needs to have that quality turned into a job or a series of small jobs. She also takes several daily naps. She just drops in place and flips over for belly rubs. She however, does not like other doodles sniffing her or getting in "her space" while she is napping. She almost "resource guards" her quiet time and would benefit greatly by having several caves. She likes her kennel and loves to be under beds, tables, etc.

If you are interested in this opportunity please fill out the puppy application.

I am hoping for guardian pups from the upcoming litters, both males and females. Please submit an application for guardianship to be added to the list.
